Hello!


 Sorry i haven't written on here for a while. I forgot my log-in details!


 So what's been happening since i last wrote to you? I took a trip back to London in September for my brothers wedding. It was such a beautiful day, and it was so nice to see all my family too.  Felt a little strange going back at first because it almost felt like i hadn't left...... and it was bloody cold too!

 I bought a new car when i got back to LA. I love it! I've ready managed to put a dent in the front of it... but i love it all the same. It's a white 2000 chevy camar for any of you who knows what that is ( i didn't)
I took it on it's first road trip about a month ago wit my friend Claudia (who used to do the wardrobe for S club and randomly met out here at a BBQ 7 years later! This place is weird!) We drove up to Monterey, which is about a 5 hour drive. It was amazing. We drove all along the coast, it was stunning. There was a place we stopped along the way where we saw a beach full of Elephant Seals. They were all laying in the sun and took up the whole beach there were so many.
 When we got to Monterey we went whale watching!!! We were really lucky because it was almost the end of the season but we saw about 20 humpback whales!! They were coming really close to the boat too which was a litttle scary... you don't realize how big they are until you see one popping out right by your boat!

 Also had Halloween here for the first time.... wow, they really go for it here! There was a big parade in the street and so many people out and about. Some of the costumes were amazing too, people really made an effort.

 I'm coming back to London next week for a while. I'll be doing panto down in hastings. I've never done it before so i'm quite excited, should be a good laugh. I've also been asked to play Paris in Romeo and Juliet which will start in London in January. I'll keep you posted when i know more details.

  Welcome to my LA diary. I'll try and write as often as i can and keep you up to date with my adventures here in the States. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Kay Forster for all the hard work she put in to my new site. I'm really pleased with the new look and feel of JONLEEOFFICIAL.COM and i hope you all like it too. Please post some comments and let me and Kay know what you think.


  I arrived in LA on the 17th of June and will be basing myself here for the next few years. I'll be back and forth to the UK to visit family and friends but am really going to give it my best shot over here... so wish me luck!!!!

  I've been here almost a week and have already made lots of new friends. I've been keeping myself really busy with lots of different things but mainly getting out there and having a bit of fun! I'm taking the first 2 weeks as my holiday but then am going to throw myself into work and getting myself set up over here. I've already passed my Californian Driving test and hired a car so i'm on the road. I've only turned onto the wrong side of the street twice and backed into a lamp post once, so all in all it's been a success! : )

  My first night in LA i went out to dinner with some friends. Had a really great time even though i was exhausted after my flight. I managed to stay up quite late but when it was nearing midnight my body began to shut down... it was definitely time for bed. My friends and i walked back to the car only to find it had been towed away! The adventure begins already! It was hilarious at the time, couldn't believe i spent my first night in the West Hollywood car pound!

  Another friend of mine arrived in LA the day after me so we met up for a few drinks and some lunch down at Santa Monica beach. It was full of memories as i filmed most of the TV series down there with S Club. I headed back to my apartment which is right in Hollywood. I'm subletting off my mate Craig until i find my own place in the next month or so. It's a great place, really comfortable and a perfect location so i couldn't ask for more!

  There is group here called Brits in LALA. I met up with them all on Friday. There are more British people here than at home! It was great meeting them all and they gave me some good advice on surviving my first few months here. It can be quite a lonely place as it's huge and all your friends and family are 1000's of miles away but this group really look out for each other and they made me feel very welcome. I was invited to out to Laguna beach on the Sunday with a few of them. It's about an hour outside of LA in Orange County and it was beautiful! The weather is incredible here, over 100 degrees all this week so i'm already really brown... and maybe a little bit burnt!

  Have just had a chilled one today. Met a lovely girl called Loleen for lunch. She's a song writer out here so hopefully we'll be working together in the next week or so and i'll have some new songs for you all to listen to.
